The state’s Comparative Report of Local Government Revenues and Expenditures for the year ended June 30, 1991 again shows that Rappahannock is a relatively high tax county for our area that spends relatively little for education.
The report, which is based on auditors reports filed with the state for every county, city and large town in the state, shows that Rappahannock collects $703 per person in the Cggpity in local taxes. Among surrounding counties Culpeper is
