“Vaulting is fun. Vaulting is exciting. Vaulting offers lots of opportunities for healthy competition and challenge, particularly with the drive to reinstitute it as an Olympic sport. But that margin of safety is the best reason for learning how to vault,” Mrs. Appel-Bucierka concluded.
The Oct. 17 vaulting clinic, offered 12:30 to 4 p.m. at Mountain Springs Stable is open to adults and children six and older. Cost to participate is $20; anyone is welcome to observe at no charge.
