On Thursday, Oct. 1, WCDS overtook Massanutten Military Academy with a two match victory. In game one of the first match, Nadia Walla led the way by racking up seven points in a row to win the first game 15 to 11. In the second game of match one, Colleen O’Donnell carried thfe team ahead by scoring six points which led to a 15 to 12 victory.
Massanutten overtook the Owls in the first game of match two. Even though Nadia Walla had seven points, WCDS lost by a score of 12 to 15.
