music scene in Boston, where she performed with The City Ladies’ County Quartet. It was in Boston , whre she met Lorraine Duisit, ' who in 1979 invited her to audition for Trapezoid. By 1980, Ms. Epstein was a Trapezoid member, forming the extraordinary vocal partnership with Duisit ; that would propel the band for- ; ward during the next eight years and earn them international acclaim.
Ms. Epstein left Trapezoid in 1988. Based in Charlottesville, she tought private voice and violin lessons and completed course work to become a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique, a tool that has particular application for those involved in the performing arts.
