Country dances scheduled
The Bluemont Concert Series new series of Second Saturday Oldtime Country Dances begins its first full season in Fauquier and Rappahannock counties Oct. 10 at the Marshall Community Center in Marshall.
These dances will be held the second Saturday each month October through May and will alternate locations between Fauquier County (the Marshall Community Center) and Rappahannock County (the Rappahannock Elementary School).
The dances will begin at 8 p.m. with a beginner’s workshop at 7 p.m. Instruction and calling are provided throughout the dance; single dancers are welcome.
