months since we have been in business has the Bleu Rock called us and asked us if we can take overflow, and that was very recently. I gladly agreed.
Since we are new, we often times have openings when other B&B’s don’t. 4 & 20 Blackbirds can call us at 10:30 at night and find rooms for several of their dinner guests, as can the Inn at Little Washington, but the Bleu Rock can’t call us because it's “too late.” That is not only inaccurate, but insulting. I have been under the impression that the Bleu Rock has had no overflow since we have not gotten referrals from them. Reality is they don’t chose to refer us. We constantly refer dinner guests to the Bleu Rock (and our other local restaurants), and we have also referred wedding parties to them.
If this application has the approval of the county administrators, I would appreciate it if it were done knowing that there are other facilities who do have openings, and that
