We welcome Elizabeth James as a new kindergarten teacher. Her class was made by taking 4 to 6 children from the other kindergarten classes. Mrs. Laver’s kindergarten class is learning about colors, shapes and the letters M, T and F. They are also learning about fall. The. fifth grade Reading Pals are reading to the kindergarteners every Friday afternoon.
The first and fourth graders have an added feature to their science curriculum this year. Two Rappahannock County Elementary School teachers, Mrs. Roszak and Mrs. Vickers participated ii> the 2nd annual Blue Ridge Institute for Environmental Studies conducted by Shenandoah University this summer.
