tailed as a national leader, in spite ot many promises which he may not be able to fulfill, Bill Clinton is our most logical choice. Clinton, five times the Governor of his state, was voted the nation’s most effective governor by his peers.
If elected, hopefully, Bill Clinton will level with the American people and adopt some of the ideas developed for Ross Perot by John White, a very able Eastman Kodak executive. This plan is very similar to (hat being put forth by the non-partisan Concord Coalition led by retiring Republican Senator Warren Rudman and former Democratic • Congress Tsongas.
With a Clinton administration in place along with a Democratic Congress the gridlock will be broken. Hopefully, the American people will then wake up to the mess we are in and agree to put everything on the table including taxes on our social security benefits, increased gasoline taxes, higher income taxes, etc.
Like it or not we’re all in this together. We are not going to get out of this mess by continuing the failed policies and programs of the Reagan/Bush era.
