It is obvious Mr. Fitzsimons did not “learn his lesson,” probably due to the laziness and indifference behavioral problem, or he would know that children and adults with learning disabilities are a reality and not a joking matter.

Students with learning disabilities struggle every day to learn and understand concepts that are easily grasped by those more fortunate. These students are not lazy they are hard workers who deserve better than off-handed snide remarks from “lazy and indifferent” people who try to use them as the butt of their pathetic jokes.

Perhaps there is still hope for Mr. Fitzsimons to “learn his lesson” and prove that he does have a heart.
