F.O.R.E. names

Crawford Hammersley has been appointed Community Job Specialist at the Facility for Occupational Rehabilitative Enterprises, Inc., (F.O.R.E.).
Hammersley will head the newly established Supported Employment Program at F.O.R.E. for the courtties in Planning District 9 (Culpeper, Madsion, Rappahannock, Fauquier, and Orange). In that position he will seek employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities who have had intermittent or no employment history.
The Supported Employment Program at F.O.R.E. is underwritten by a grant from the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services to provide job development, placement, job site training and counseling to persons with disabilities.
Supported employment is a way to give local companies competent, motivated workers by carefully matching worker to employer and providing job coach assistance.
Hammersley has 20 years marketing experience in both industrial and retail organizations. He is an active member and director of the Culpeper Mid-Day Lions and has worked many years in support of persons with disabilities.
He is a member and past chairman of the Culpeper Local Advisory Committee for Special Education for Culpeper Schools, serves on the Culpeper Schools Superintendents Advisory Council, and is the WQRAFM News Associate in Culpeper.
