Handicap hurdler Big Estero has graduated to the timber ranks and will make his debut this spring over lumber. Cooke’s Big Nado will run in the maiden ranks over hurdles.
For owner-rider Jim Whitner, Smithwick trains Sello Y Firmo to run over timber. His Empire Joy will also start this spring.
Noel Twyman — Racing fans may have the chance to cheer Twyman twice over this spring, as he is reported to be in training himself to join ranks in the ownerrider hurdle series.
