Top state and district transportation officials will conduct a public hearing on the 1993-94 Fiscal Year interstate, primary and urban highway construction allocations in Culpeper on Friday, March 26.
The hearing will be held in the Culpeper district auditorium, 1601 Orange Road, in Culpeper beginning at 10 a.m.
This annual forum, frequently called the Preallocation Hearing, permits members of General Assembly, county boards of supervisors, city and town councils, other public officials and the general public an opportunity to inform Virginia Department of Transportation officials of transportation needs in their respective communities.
Secretary of Transportation John * G. Milliken, transportation commissioner Ray D. Pethtel, Members of the Commonwealth Transportation Board and other state and district transportation officials will attend.
The Culpeper district includes Albemarle, Culpeper, Fauquier, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties, the city of Charlottesville, and the towns of Culpeper and Warrenton.
