Ruth Horton

Ruth Hershkowitz Horton of Alexandria, died Feb. 8 at the Woodbine Nursing and Convelescent Center in Alexandria.

Mrs. Horton was a frequent visitor to Rappahannock County, where she is survived by her daughter, Denise Horton of Washington.

She is also survived by another daughter, Patricia Horton Reichler, her grand-daughter,. Jessica Reichler, and her husband, James Horton.

Additional survivors are one sister, Evelyn Freidmen, and two brothers, Jack and A1 Hershey, of New York and Florida.

Funeral services were held Feb. 11 at the Ives Pearson Funeral Home in Alexandria, with Rabbi Arnold Fink presiding. Interment was at Ivy Hill Cemetery, Alexandria.
