at Library
There will be a special showing at the Library of the PBS TV Series, “Healing and the Mind” with Bill Moyers, on three evenings at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, Monday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 3. This is a highly regarded three part series on various aspects of “mind-body medicine” embracing traditional Western medicine, Psychiatry, and alternative forms of care and support; causes and treatments of illness and stress.
Appearing initially on PBS at 9 p.m. on Feb. 22, 23, 24 (WETA and WVPT) it will be recorded and reshown by speical permission on our big screen projector for the many of us in the County who are unable to watch the broadcast because of poor reception or for other reasons. Resource material is available for you to copy at your own cost at the Library.
Sponsored among others by the Fetzer Institute in Kalamazoo, Mich, and TV Station WNET, Boston, it promises to be most interesting and enlightening.
