Jean Minnis
Mrs. Jean E. Minnis, 52, of Boston, died Feb. 13, at her residence.
She was born in Rappahannock County on Dec. 2, 1940, the daughter of the late Waver and Goldie Jenkins Kennedy.
Mrs. Minnis had worked for the Department of Social Services with the Day Care Program. She was a member of Slate Mills Baptist Church.
Mrs. Minnis is survived by her husband, James C. Minnis; her mother, Mrs. Goldie Kennedy of Slate Mills: and a son, Christian Todd Minnis of Culpeper.
She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Betty Coates of Culpeper and two brother, Robert K. Kennedy of Lynchburg and Charles W. Kennedy of Fairfax.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 16, at Found and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Eaton.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert ' ’nates. Bill Smith, Mike Minnis, Todd Ross, Don Huntley, and Doug Kennedy.
