Gypsy moth seminar
The Gypsy Moth Dilemma, a regional seminar discussing many aspects of the gypsy moth problem, will be presented at Lord Fairfax Community College on Saturday, April 1 from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Hospital tour April 11

Art and craft bazaar
Salem Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will sponsor its first art and craft bazaar on Saturday, May 13 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the fire hall in Griffinsburg, Route 522. The organization is seeking crafters. Anyone interested should contact Dorothy Beck at 547-3957.
Crafters needed
The Culpeper Jaycees will be sponsoring “Culpeper Day” on Saturday, May 6 on Davis Street in downtown Culpeper from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Persons interested in reserving a space to display crafts, information and/or exhibits must send in completed entry forms by April 15. 'On Golden Pond'
Fauquier Community Theatre will present “On Golden Pond,” the touching story of the love between a couple in their golden years on March 24 and 25. Presented in The Loft, 9 N. Third Street, Warrenton, with all shows beginning at 8 p.m.

Hospice of the Rapidan’s Volunteer Training Sessions will be held the evenings of Thursday, April 6, and Monday, April 10, and all day Saturday, April 8.

The junior high Sunday School class of the Sperryville United Methodist Church will sponsor a bake sale on Saturday, March 25 at 10 a.m.
Anesthesia options explored
Anesthesia Options will be the subject of a free health forum at Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 28 by the hospital’s chief of anesthesia, Dr. Michael Russell. Training for judges
The Area 9 Extension Home Economists are conducting a Fair Judges Training on April 5 at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center. The cost is $6.50 and includes lunch and breaks.
