AmissVille Baptist will join Forest Grove and Woodville Baptist churches for sunrise service at 5:45 a.m. at Red Oak Mountain.
Amissville United Methodist will have sunrise service at 6 a.m. followed by breakfast at the church. Other Easter activities include an egg hunt at 2 p.m. on Saturday and worship services at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Pastor Parker welcomes the community to attend these services.
Saturday, March 18 Troop 50, Amissville Boy Scouts went camping in Syria, Madison County, along the Robinson River. John Mallory, senior patrol leader and James Stone, assistant senior patrol leader worked toward their cooking merit badge by cooking meals for the other Scouts and the two adult leaders.
