others. Family therapy gives family members opportunities to ask questions about the Pinebrooke program and to receive support from the staff.

Expressive therapy is a creative outlet for feelings. Through drama, imagery, movement to music, and art, patients become actively and physically involved in the healing process and find ways to express their emotions.

Occupational therapy gives patients opportunities for self-expression and developing social skills within individual and group task activities.

Physical and social activities are an important part of Pinebrooke’s program, as well. Games, tennis, swimming, aerobic exercise, walking, picnics, and other activities assist patients in achieving a feeling of well-being.
