Trinity Episcopal Church will hold Holy Eucharist and Agape on Maundy Thursday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. On Good Friday, March 24 they will hold meditation at noon. Sunrise service with Holy Eucharist will begin at 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 26. This service will be held outdoors at the home of Col. and Mrs. Nels Parson. A light continental breakfast will be served after the service. Festal Easter Eucharist will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 26. The congregations of Amissville. Woodville and Forest Grove Baptist Churches will join together to present their traditional Easter Sunrise Service at 5:45 a.m. on Red Oak Mountain, near Woodville, on Sunday, March 26. The Rev. Tom Everett, pastor of the Amissville Baptist Church will deliver this year’s sermon. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held at the Forest Grove Baptist Church in Viewtown. Following the service the Forest Grove Baptist Church will serve breakfast to worshipers at the Forest Grove Schoolhouse.
