Mary Watkins
Mary Helen Menefee Watkins, 85, of Spartanburg, S.C., formerly of Richmond, died March 11 at her home.
Mrs. Watkins was bom at the homeplace, Piedmont in Rappahannock, the daughter of the late Robert Middleton and Mary Tabitha Smith Menefee. She was the widow of Mortimer P. Watkins Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Gerald Smith, Spartanburg; one sister, Mrs. John R. Revercomb, Culpeper; two grandsons, Brian Stanley and Marc David Smith; two nephews, Robert Mercer Menefee Jr. and Edward Lynn Menefee, both of Fairfax; and one niece, Sandra Ann Menefee, San Raphael, Calif.
Graveside services were held March 13 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond.
