The success of the Campaign for CMH, the capital drive to support the facilities enhancement project, is a firm indication of the community’s belief in the significance of Culpeper Memorial Hospital. With pledges totaling over $1.280 million, the Foundation has received payments of over $1 million after only two years of the three year drive. This generosity has gone directly to the current improvements and is already providing improved services to outpatients and emergency patients.
Aware that some capital pledges extended another year or two and that completing these pledges is the donors' priority, the Foundation board, under the leadership of President George Broman, M.D., felt it was time to look at the future needs of the hospital. In addition to capital funds, they found two areas which merited action.
