Dupont of Loudoun County, and Ed Gentry of Madison, to describe his experiences with what VPI Extension specialists called “large hay packers.”

A certificate of merit has

been awarded Aline Johnson, Sperryville Postmaster, by the National League of Postmasters for her membership work on behalf of the league. She has been a member of the league since becoming postmaster five years ago and has worked to increase the membership during this time with emphasis on 1979. She also received an individual award, as well as a state and regional citation. Presentation was made at the recent annual forum held at the Quality Inn at Pentagon City.

J. Scott Robinson of Flint Hill

was the recipient of the first-place Henry Olson prize in the Washington Water Color Association’s annual awards show at the Arts Club. His “Supermarket I” was the winning work.
