Recuperating at home, Gordon looks as pretty as ever even though she is not moving at her accustomed pace. She is not facing any immediate treatment for her cancer.
As she reflects on the choices she made and the care she received, she feels she has a message of her own for those facing health care decisions. “I want others to f\pfe a chance to be treated here at home close to their families and friends and without the stress of travel. On occasion, there are no alternatives, but if you have something wrong, do a little research and see if Culpeper has what you need. Using the opportunities offered at CMH was a good decision for me. You will be well-advised to go to CMH.”
At age 63 Gordon recently began a new career in home decorating. With five jobs completed, she bends down for her basket containing samples of her current project.
