Cassie Grayson
Cassie Pendleton Grayson, 94, of Front Royal died March 15 in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Grayson was bom August 30, 1894, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Silas and Kattie Jasper Pendleton. She was married to the late Pete Grayson. She was a member of the Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Alberta Grayson, Warrenton and Cassie Grayson, Jeffersonton; two sisters, Margie Rector, Leesburg' and Alberta Foster, Washington, D. C.; two grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; and three greatgreat-grandchildren.
TJie funeral was held March 20 at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Amissville with the Rev. Norman Campbell officiating. Burial was in Amissville Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Homer Jackson, Elliott Johnson, William Cottoms, Samuel Fields, Turner Yates and Cornwell Webb.
Thomas Hannah
Thomas Edward Hannah, 65, of Luray, a retired businessman, died March 11 at Page Memorial Hospital emergency room of an apparent heart attack.
He was bom March 16, 1923, at Fincastle and was a son of the late Frank R. and Grace Howell Hannah.
During World War II, he served in the Army and received a purple heart and silver and bronze stars. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Luray.
On June 2, 1965, he married Frances Hannah, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ronald E. Hannah, Rockledge, Fla.; two daughters, Stacey Faye Hannah, Atlantic Beach, Fla., and Teresa Frances Hannah, Fairfax; a stepson, Gary M. Jenkins, Lebanon, 111.; four stepdaughters, Joan M. Jenkins,
