Terry Russell, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Emory Russell of Flint Hill received a “Superior Rating” award for his essay entered in the Future Business Leaders of America contest, awarded at the Madison Regional meeting at Madison College March 22. Approximately 400 students attended the meeting, representing 24 high schools. This was the first year RCHS had entered the contest. Russell’s topic was “The Business Executive.”

An open house will be held Thursday night, March 27 in connection with the Adult Education classes which have been held for the past 10 weeks. The open house will be held at Rappahannock County High School from 8 until 9 p.m. There will be a display of the wood carving which has been done and of the furniture which has been refinished.
