Volunteers have always been one of Culpeper Memorial's greatest resources, and in 1988 it was not any different. The Auxilians make many services and programs possible.
A three month advanced junior auxiliary program was offered in the spring to give hands-on experience to junior and senior high school students who plan to further their studies in some part of the healthcare field.
In June the Auxiliary Thrift Shop celebrated the grand opening of its new location at Waters Place. With more space, better parking, and the work of great volunteers, the Thrift Shop’s profits were up by 35%. The annual Lights of Love project shone brightly in its sixth year. The program enjoyed its most successful season in 1988 with $11,800 donated from friends and loved ones.
