for this purpose in 1981. In 1988 the Foundation initiated a planned giving program to encourage major gift support.
Although a major or planned gift requires consideration by the donor concerning the impact it will have on the donor’s financial and estate planning, planned gifts provide benefits to the donor as well as to the hospital. Helping donors make taxwise gifts is an important service to friends of CMH.
The Annual Fund, Planned Giving, and the Capital Campaign provide vital financial support in different ways to the hospital.
