Principal
Chesshir
plans move

Rappahannock News Staff Writer
Elementary school Principal Bemie Chesshir does not yet know what he will be doing when he leaves Rappahannock at the end of June.
He is looking for a job that won’t involve as much commuting.
“I cannot run an elementary school in Rappahannock while living in Charlottesville,” he said. “An elementary principal should live in the community and be a part of the community.”
Mr. Chesshir said there were many days when it was 9 or 10 at night before he got home. “I’m getting better since I’m in a car pool,” he added.
