The Proclaim the Word Services began on Sunday evening at the Flint Hill fire hall with a covered dish dinner and approximately 66 to 70 present. Services continued each evening through Wednesday with a covered dish and service at Sperryville United Methodist Church on Monday and Tuesday at Willis Chapel Church. The speaker for the services was Rev. Claude Cook of Culpeper and formerly of Flint Hill. He was assisted by the pastor Rev. Merlin Shorb.
Mrs. Evelyn Megieth of Front Royal was a Sunday visitor of her sister Mrs. Alice Pullen.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:16 a.m. on Sunday, May 26. The pastor Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public.
