The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department will hold its carnival beginning next week, May 29-June 1. Special events are planned for each evening. Wednesday night will be family night and you can ride all night for $5. Rides for Thursday, Friday and Saturday' will be at the special rate of $6 for each evening and riding until closing. The parade will begin at t p.m. on Thursday, a band will perform on Friday night and the crowning of the queen and the prizes will be given away Saturday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Atkins and Kelly hosted a party at their home Sunday afternoon in honor of their daughter and sister Angela who celebrated her 12th birthday that day.
