3. ) To provide all labor and materials in repairing and replacing rotting and decayed trim-work on the Courthouse building, on Gay Street in Washington, Virginia. Said services to
include repairing & repainting left side window sills, scraping and repainting with high-grade exterior paint ail exterior trim, as well as repairing and replacing such pieces as may be necessary (this aspect of the work may be bid on a fixed price or a per square foot replacement price). The left rear handicapped access door shall also be re-hung with additional hinge. 4. ) To provide all labor and materials necessary to remove old parging; sealing, re-parging (with water-resistant material) and repainting the front columns on the courthouse building. Bids may be submitted for one or more of the above separate and distinct projects and bids shall be submitted accordingly. Sealed bids stating a fixed price as well as extent of services proposed should be submitted to the County Administrator's Office, Old Extension Office Building, by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. The standards for competitive sealed bidding as set forth in the Code of Virginia, 1 950 (as amended), Section 11-37 shall apply. To be acceptable, a bid must state a fixed price, must contain the name, address, and telephone number of the bidder, and must be signed by same.
