Bappahannock New* Staff Writer , At last Tuesday’s meeting the |Water and Sewer Authority decided to formalize a policy on new taps into the Sperryville sewer system.
Only two new taps have, been added to the system since it was originally completed, and both of those were very close to existing lines. The policy had been to have the owner purchase the tank and pump and then the sewer authority ; hooked them up. ■ WSA secretary James Swindler II said the system is required to furnish service to anyone in the ' service district within 300 feet of the ; main line.
