Friday night highlights include a country rock band playing at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on the carnival grounds. “Double or Nothing” hosts lead singer Penny Atkins Donaldson.
Saturday night as the lights grow dim on the carnival grounds winners for the prize money are chosen.
Tickets for the first prize is $500, second prize is $100, third prize is $75 and fourth prize is $50. They can be purchased at on the carnival grounds during the carnival, at many area stores in Washington and Sperryville and through any fire department member. For tickets contact the fire department at 987-8124 and leave a message on the answering machine.
The grand prize, a 600-pound heifer, will be awarded Saturday.
Bingo will be played each night of the carnival in the fire hall.
