The opera has brought together the Warrenton Chorale and the Fauquier Community Theater.
“This is the first joint project for the two groups,” said Diane Hughes, director for the production and an active member of the Fauquier Community Theater.
“It will be an extravaganza, the likes of which Warrenton has never seen before. There are over 100 performers involved, 70 in the cast and more than 50 in the orchestra,” she said.
