I am pro-gun and support the right to keep and bear arms. The Brady Bill is not a harmless waiting period, but a permit-to-purchase law.
Since no law is perfect, every Constitutional provision causes some harm, freedom of the press included. What we must do is weigh pros and cons, then decide.
Guns, like automobiles, knives, and hands can do harm or good; the credit or blame rests with the person, not the gun or automobile, knife or hand!
Let us restore the concept of personal responsibility for every action; let us stop the abuse of guns and automobiles, knives and hands, by punishing the abuser for his or her acts!
Please write our senators (U.S. Senate, Washington, D.C. 20510) and urge them to vote against the Brady Bill, to vote for proper punishment for those who misuse all guns.
