equal time
To the Editor:
As a concerned citizen with great interest in the future of Rappahannock County, I am pleased that this year’s sheriff election will offer voters a choice between incumbent John Henry Woodward and challenger Roger Cordani.
I am sure that the article in the May 9 edition by Mark Scolforo, announcing Mr. Cordani’s decision to seek the position, was only the first of many.
In the coming five months, there will no doubt be countless statements and opinions voiced by Mr. Woodward and Mr. Cordani, with each candidate hopefully given equal opportunity to respond by the Rappahannock News.
In the previously mentioned article, Mr. Woodward was certainly allowed to reply to some of the concerns raised by the challenger. As a voter interested in a fair and unbiased exchange of ideas, I would
