Long-time Washington resident William M. Carrigan was presented with the Christendom College Distinguished Service Medal during commencement ceremonies at the Catholic liberal arts college in Front Royal last week.
Mr. Carrigan is being honored for his important contributions to Catholic philanthropy both in this country and around the world.
Although Mr. Carrigan played a vital role in the founding and development of 14-year-old Christendom College, his generosity has benefited countless other Catholic charities.
Christendom College is a fully-accredited liberal arts college located in Front Royal.
