The Warrenton Chorale and The Fauquier Community Theatre will present a community production of the Benjamin Britten opera, “Noye’s Fludde” (Noah’s Flood) at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1. The performances will be at St. John’s Catholic Church on Winchester Street in Warrenton.
“Noye’s Fludde” is the dream child of Barbara Stinson who has long been a fixture in the Warrenton musical community. Her love for, and desire to see this piece as a part of Warrenton’s musical history, has been the guiding force bringing this production to life in Warrenton.
