Washington, Va. Now, both eighth graders at Wakefield they formerly played lacrosse for Highland School in Warrenton.
The twins dominated the match, trusting each other to sling the small rubber ball between them for winning scores. Many of the younger members of the team were able to get in some good plays exhibiting their new found skills.
Coach Charles Cowherd, a former lacrosse player and a current fan, demonstrated, the enthusiasm to send Wakefield Middle Schoolers on to work harder as the game progressed but Shenandoah County scored again as the second period ended with a score of 3-6.
