Fender benders
Thomas Golden Jr., 52, from Luray, Va. was charged with reckless driving after flipping his 2002 Fold Ranger over an embankment on Highway 211. The accident occurred on April 25, 5:00 p.m. and no injuries were reported. Golden ran off the left side of the road and over corrected while traveling above the speed limit. State Trooper Brandon Johnson handled the scene.
Katie Payne, 23, of Woodville Va. struck an embankment after losing control of her 2002 Dodge Neon on Route 626. She was charged with reckless driving by Trooper Christopher Roop. The accident occurred on April 25, at around 8:00 p m; no injuries were reported.
Jerry Thomas Jr., 25, of Etlan, Va. was charged for Failure to Drive to the Right of the Road after striking Larry Nicholson, 56, of Reva, Va. The accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. near the Route 707 and 607 intersection on April 27. Thomas was rounding a comer in his 1988 Cadillac and hit Nicholson’s 1992 Chevrolet Pickup. Trooper Don Corbin investigated tire scene.
