match. Recently the varsity boys’ tennis team played the top two teams in the conference on consecutive dates losing to Wakefield School and Highland. Tuesday, the Owls regrouped to easily defeat Emmanuel Christian 6-1. It was the second win of the season for WCDS, the most in the four year existence of competitive tennis.
Middle School Soccer
Our middle school soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision to Riverfront School but squeaked by Shenandoah Valley Christian Academy 2-1 the following day. WCDS also played to a 1-1 tie with Rappahannock County. Last week the team middle school soccer fell 6-0, to the Front Royal Flames.
