Jeanmne uses a unique awardwinning technique of painting with watercolor on gessoed paper and clay board, building layers of texture, and then wiping away areas to expose glowing light. First-time viewers of her art often comment that her layered watercolors “look like oil paintings."
This is Jeannine’s second exhibition of new works at the Ballard Gallery. She has exhibited widely with over 10 one-person shows and numerous awards to her credit. She is also in many public and private collections including the New York -Life Insurance Company and the City Hall, of Charleston, South Carolina.
