Mr. and Mrs. John Hitt of Amissville were honored on their 25th silver anniversary with a party in their honor, given by Mr./and Mrs. John Early and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Burke and John Hitt Jr.
There were approximately 125 guests present, including family and friends, at the Amissville Fire Hall on July 31 to celebrate the occasion with Mr. and Mrs. Hitt.
The Hitts were married July 30. 1957 in Durham, N. C. They have two children, Mrs. Glen Burke and John Hitt Jr., both of Amissville. and one granddaughter, Kelly Dawn Burke.
