Attorney Doug Baumgardner had requested the board to have Judd correspond directly with him. Eastham raised the issue that school property reverts to the original owner when no longer in use. The board directed that this be clarified by Baumgardner.
The board discussed the Virginia School Board Association annual conference to be held in Roanoke in early October. Rappahaqnock board members had proposed a new method of assessing member dues and the Association had responded that it was not necessary for a board member to attend in order for their proposal to be heard.
