Schmidt Wins
Photo Awards
Franklin R. Schmidt of Woodville won first and third place awards last weekend at the 92nd annual convention of the Virginia Professional Photographers Association held in Virginia Beach.
Schmidt won a blue ribbon for his photograph of a Rappahannock County barn and third place for a still life. In addition to the prize winning photographs, his portrait of an Arabian stallion was also exhibited at the VPPA show.
The bam photograph will now advance to southeastern regional competition in the Professional Photographers Association.
