The effects of nuclear power, a topic that is generating great interest and controversy nationwide, will be addressed in a special program set for October 15 at the Rappahannock County Library.
The program is being presented jointly by the library and the Rappahannock Chapter of the Izaak Walton League.
Two outstanding authorities long involved in nuclear development with the United States Army. Lt. General (ret.) Frank Camm and Lt. General (ret.) C. J. Le Van, will join local residents Col. (ret.) Nels Parsons and Dr. Werner Krebser in a panel discussion dealing with the consequences of nuclear power. The panel, which will be moderated by Lee Bird, current president of the county’s Izaak Walton League, will address the following aspects of nuclear development:
