The Virginia Fall Race Meeting in Middleburg, in its twenty-fourth year and a mainstay of the sport, will color its race day this year with an “Old Fashioned Country Fair” on the grounds of Glenwood Park Course. The meeting is on Octobers.

Driving Meet
Slated Oct. 10
The tenth annual Morven Park Carriage Drive and Competition will be held on the mansion grounds on October 10 with the first class getting underway at 12 noon.
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Shone of Williamsburg, Va., will judge classes in pleasure driving, obstacle course and marathon drives. Prizes will be awarded in each class and the most elegant turnout of the day will receive the Concours d’ Elegance at the end of the competition.
The competition is conducted on the grounds in front of Morven Park mansion and on drives throughout the 1200-acre estate near Leesburg. Admission is $3 for adults and $1.50 for children aged from six to 12.
Hie public is invited to picnic on the grounds.
