Mrs. Nancy Jane Beahm of Washington died Friday, September 17, 1982, at the home of her son, Silas A. Beahm Jr. in Washington. Janie Beahm, as she was called by friends and family alike was 94. Born September 21, 1887, in Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the l?te William Harvey and Julia Ann Garke Smedley. She was the widow of Silas Abram Beahm Sr. and the mother of the late George William Beahm. Survivors include two sons, Silas A. Beahm Jr. of Washington and Isaac H. Beahm of Luray; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Beahm was a member of the Oakley Baptist Church in Rappahannock County. Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Moody Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. Kirby Shenk and Rev. John Burke. Burial was in Sperryville cemetery. Pallbearers were Maywood Cornell, Wayne Baldwin, Edward J. Pullen, Earl Smedley, Geveland Smedley, James Dwyer, David L. Pullen and Edward Gatterbuck.
