DR. WILLIAM M. GARDINER will give a talk and slide show on the prehistory of Rappahannock County as seen from the other side of the Blue Ridge at the library this Thursday evening, September 23, beginning at 7:30. Gardiner, who is president of Thunderbird Research Corporation and director of the excavation program at the museum and archeological park located just outside Front Royal, invites local “diggers” to bring their arrow heads and other artifacts to the library for identification.
