Each girl scout \yas assigned three age appropriate workshops and had time to examine the hands-on exhibits. A favorite for both the girls and their leaders was the 3-D Omnimax movie on “Special Effects” which offered the girls a behind-thescenes look on how movie companies create the illusions in such films as “Star Wars,” “King Kong,” and “Independence Day.” “Big, Dirty Snowballs” was shown Sunday before the campers loaded their gear to head home and examined comets from the past and as recent as “Hale-Bopp.”
